Maastricht International Church holds services on the first and third Sundays of the month at 10:30 and joins with the Anglican padre from Brunssum for a service of evening prayer on the last Sunday of the month. A ‘typical’ worship service at MIC consists of several different elements. We use the Bible, the Word of God, to share in a variety of ways the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray together and enjoy praising God with music from a variety of sources, both modern and traditional. Teaching, sharing, silence and sacramental ministry also play important roles. We use international Anglican guidelines as a starting point for each service, but enjoy being creative within this structure.

Whether the service is an all-ages service, a communion service, or a contemplative time of prayer, we prayerfully seek to focus on declaring the “worth-ship” of God in each service. Our worship does not end at the conclusion of a service, but continues on in our daily lives and activities. We seek “by the mercies of God, to present [our] bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is [our] spiritual worship.”  (Romans 12:1)

Worship

All of our services and events are relaxed and friendly affairs. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religious or denominational background, and there is no dress code!

“Come as you are” is not just a catch phrase at MIC.
